Hi, I’m Ashley Nguyen! I am a transfer student to California State University, Fullerton from Goldenwest College. My major is in Sociology, and I hope to do Social Work in the future! I’m a native to Huntington Beach, but have lived all over Orange County with my cat, Papaya (pictured in the image above). In my down time, I love being in the kitchen with loved ones, reading a good book, and music-related events.

While some factors may influence the way we behave in our close relationships, some parts of us are solidified in human nature, and connect all of us together. With the rise of technology, many aspects of the family and relationship structure have changed through time, while others have stayed consistent. I will be connecting sociological theory to relevant topics in modern relationship and family dynamics, and how each affects one another.
